My name is Jeff Walsh, and I am the owner of Ashburn Tree. I live here in Ashburn and I am active in the community. I have extensive training and experience in the practice of Arborculture. With the goal of helping my neighbors care for and manage their trees, I started Ashburn Tree in 2017. I strive to offer the highest quality service at a fair price.  Ashburn Tree is truly top-notch. The owner responded quickly to my request for an estimate, sent a great estimator out to see my job, kept me informed about every aspect of my job, and even worked along with the crew the day the work was performed. He and his crew do excellent, very professional work. I wish I could give this company 10 stars. I will do so by recommending Ashburn Tree to everyone I know who needs tree work done. While my profession requires me to pay attention to details, so does my side job of detailing cars. So when someone comes on my property to perform work, quality and craftsmanship will be noticed. From the moment I requested a quote to the completion of the job, Jeff delivered top notch customer service at a competitive price. I worked with Jeff and his team to remove and haul all the broken branches from my large willow from the recent snow/ice storm. Jeff was extremely responsive and his team was there the next day to perform the work. I had 3 quotes and Jeff's was very competitive, but more importantly I trusted him more than the other companies. He spent time with me walking through my options of saving vs removing the tree - no sales pressure at all. I will absolutely use him for all future tree services and highly recommend him.

We hired Jeff to remove a 30-year-old kousa dogwood, and to analyze a dying maple. He showed us how we could keep the maple simply by selectively pruning. And he and his crew did a great job removing the dogwood, removing the stump, and cleaning up. Easy to hire, easy to work with, and very affordable. Thanks Jeff!

While my profession requires me to pay attention to details, so does my side job of detailing cars. So when someone comes on my property to perform work, quality and craftsmanship will be noticed. From the moment I requested a quote to the completion of the job, Jeff delivered top notch customer service at a competitive price. After interviewing 3 arborist and obtaining quotes, Jeff's knowledge of how to properly trim trees so they can prosper along with his competitive pricing sealed the deal. As you can see in the pictures, he did a great job trimming and thinning out the trees so they can continue to grow healthy. I was amazed by the intricate cut he made on a dead limb on the Redbud. Also Jeff and his partner took the time to make sure no limbs, branches, or twigs were left behind. They strive for excellence, and it shows. I highly recommend Ashburn Tree!!

We had our Forsythia shrubs and some branches on a big tree cut back, and Jeff and his crew did a top-notch job. The Forsythia hadn't been trimmed in a few years, so it required lots of cutting and branch pulling. Ashburn Tree is always reasonable, and we appreciate their customer service.

after owning a home in Ashburn for almost 20 years, I’ve needed a number of tree services over the years. I always had dreaded it and never used the same company twice, always hoping the next experience wasn’t as disappointing or just horrible as the last. A friend recommended Jeff and Ashburn tree and as long as he’s in business, he’ll have my business. Major project of pruning multiple trees, removal of a huge tree close (within 5”) to my house and grinding the stump. First phone call to quote to service date was only a week and it was done in 2 days of work. Thorough work and completely cleaned everything. You would have never known about the work if not for the site where the stump was. Price was very reasonable…Jeff prices by the work to be done, not by what he thinks he can get out of you…I’ve heard some wild numbers for varying jobs over the years. Thanks Jeff…happy to share a good review for a good business doing great work.
